 Since we're entering the holiday season, it's a good time to say how very thankful we are for your business and friendship.

Event News:
 The Email Marketing seminar at the Williamsport / Lycoming Chamber went well October 17, 2003. Thanks to all who attended.

Here's a tip for those who missed the seminar: Consider your email identity. When someone receives a business email from you, what should the “FROM” field say?

  1. Your first name?

  2. First and last name?

  3. First name, last name and company name?

The correct answer is "3", for business email, you should consider setting up your email program (Outlook) so that your name is displayed as First Name Last Name - Company Name. That way, people will know when they get your mail that it is a business message.

Another tip - consider creating and posting company guidelines or rules regarding email response times. Example: email received to “customersupport@kolbnetworks.com” will be answered within 2 hours during business time.

Web Site Launch news: Some yummy sites have gone live this month.
Visit German Roasted Nuts web sitewww.Germanroastednuts.net  is an ecommerce site for a local Pennsylvania merchant. The site allows purchase of tasty pecans, hazelnuts, almonds and cashews. These nuts are specially roasted, some are also sweetly seasoned. The nut packs make great stocking stuffers and there are also really nice looking tins that are perfect for giving. This is the first Storefront version 6 that we've taken live. New features include Discount Coupons by product and category, Real-time USPS shipping calculation server connection and unlimited sub categories.

This site features delicious gourmet cheesecakes and other specialty baked goods that are great for sending to that special client for the holidays or to mark a birthday.
